I think life is too short NOT to have fun!Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07042143254001890567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972951595926878159.post-10212080303902244252011-05-18T21:18:52.569-04:002011-05-18T21:18:52.569-04:00My childhood was a happy one but I was the oldest ...My childhood was a happy one but I was the oldest of four kids so I always felt responsible and it carried over into my adult life. I thoroughly enjoyed my children's childhood and now my granddaughter's. I tend to be overly responsible, and take things seriously. I think it would do me some good to lighten up.Sandy Nawrothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00564390728106776030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972951595926878159.post-16133968854010645882011-05-18T16:12:25.689-04:002011-05-18T16:12:25.689-04:00I will never lose my inner child. She told me to play with her, and enjoy every minute because before I knew it she would be grown. I'm glad she told me that. I tried to keep that thought in my head when times with the baby (toddler, child, teenager) were not perfect. It really helped me to have fun with her, enjoy her and look back without regret.kayerjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08479123027080062607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972951595926878159.post-20170243558375953712011-05-18T11:24:14.265-04:002011-05-18T11:24:14.265-04:00I too do not feel like I need to act grown up or d...I too do not feel like I need to act grown up or different now that I am of a certin age. I am who I am, and will continue to be slightly goofy for the rest of my life.

I did not have a bad childhood, but we struggled financially growing up, and I think if anything it made me a better person. I appreciate things more now and have a strong work ethic. You have to earn what you want, but you also have to enjoy the little things. Be who you are and accept people, things, and circumstances as they are. Oh now I think I'm rambling :)

Excellent post!Jenny Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04077659644092707107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4972951595926878159.post-43527998337528749552011-05-18T02:36:51.292-04:002011-05-18T02:36:51.292-04:00My childhood was fun and good for the most part. ...My childhood was fun and good for the most part. I say "most part" because my dad was rather strict and difficult to have fun around, and I also wasn't the most popular kid either. But it was good overall.

At my age, I still haven't grown up. My wife and kids often roll their eyes when they see how I act. His childhood, unlike mine and yours, was pretty much crap, and I am so happy that he's going to get another one with our son :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
