raidergirl3 asks - It's Tuesday, where is reading taking you?
I am in Wisconsin hanging out with the family dog learning about the beginning of Edgar's life and how his grandfather came to own the family's land. I am also trying to figure out what the heck the man in the pea coat back in South Korea has to do with any of this!
(The Story of Edgar Sawtelle - D. Wroblewski, fiction)

I've heard good things about this book, even if it is an Oprah pick!
Sounds interesting!
I heard this is good but very very long. I have a 5-pound book on my must read list (Pillars of the Earth) so I'm going to do my weight-lifting exercises first before embarking on it. Did you find this book uncomfortable to read -- I mean physically?
I did not like this book at all. Point of view is all over the place and the author jumps all over the place in the narrative, to the extent that I was frequently lost. After I finished it, I still couldn't see any pint to it.
My current read places me in rural Ireland in 1959.
Thanks for dropping by!
Edgar Sawtelle is on my TBR for 2009. How are you liking it so far? :)
I looked into Frank McCourt's other books and found that they were a memoir trilogy. I'm definitely reading the other two. Thank you for letting me know!
I'll wait for you to finish Edgar Sawtelle and check back on what you think. :D
