Hee hee! I remember when this happened. Myself, I have tire baggage. I've had so many of them blow on me mid-trip, while I'm driving, I get twitchy when I think about it. (Something about all the sun and rain we have down here...they don't last as long! And neither do the batteries!)
Oh, that looks so awful! I feel for you!
At least there was plenty of wineries around to help you forget.
What a bummer! I always cross my fingers that this won't happen to us on a deserted area on a foggy night --- that would be so scary!
