MONDAY MOVIE MEME
Molly looked around for a weekly meme about movies and did not have any luck. So therefore she decided to start her own! Andy will play along as well - hopefully you will too. Go to your blog and create your own post on the topic, linking back to us in your post, then come back and leave a link to your post here in our Comments section. If you don’t have a blog, just share your response in the Comments section.
This week's movie topic is all about Best Couples...
A couple of weeks ago we talked about Sidekicks. Those pairings in the movies that worked so well to entertain us. This week we're thinking of another type of pairing - couples in films that left their mark because of their romantic tension, sqaubbling or love connection. Here are some movie couples we thought were perfect for each other in their roles. Share on your blog couples in film who left their impression on you, linking back here at The Bumbles. And don't forget to visit your fellow participants!
Do you have a topic to suggest to the Monday Movie Meme? Or would you like to guest host? Let us know in the Comments section or send us an e-mail.

My entry... yay I am not late ...lol
I love this theme. War of the Roses is a good movie.
I am glad to join in today! My best couples pick is up!
One of my favorites is Kate (Meg Ryan) and Luc (Kevin Kline) in 'French Kiss'.
Katie and Hubble in 'The Way We Were' are timeless.
Bogart and Bacall in 'To Have and Have Not'. "You do know how to whistle, don't you Steve?"
My favorite romance movie of all time is The Thorn Birds...I know I'm dating myself! So I'm going to have to go with Ralph and Meggie.
I loved Romancing the Stone--
I've watched bits and pieces of "When Harry met Sally", but I'm not sure if I've seen any of the others.
I'd forgotten about "The Thorn Birds" until I read Jo-Jo's comment.
Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
So many great movies to choose from...
My picks
Speaking of dating myself - my first thought was of Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn. Any of their movies.
My vote would be Charlie and Rose in The African Queen. But I'm also reminded of Benny & Joon in "Benny & Joon"
Returning after a long absence. Love your choices of War of the Roses (what Jack and Joan might have grown up to be) and The African Queen.

Funny how you included both Romancing the Stone AND War of the Roses. Very different sides of the same coin, huh? I remember feeling very sorry for her husband in the last scene, when he reaches out to her.
I like the couple in the movie "Say Anything" Loyd Dobbler and (I can't remember the girls name?)
Harry & Sally... my favorite pick too. Here's my list

Those are some great couples. Here are mine: http://gofita.blogspot.com/2010/04/monday-movie-meme-5-word-movie-reviews.html
Rhett and Scarlett from Gone With The Wind would win my vote.
Great list! Meg Ryan worked well with Tom Hanks also (Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail). And then there's Julie Christie and Omar Sharif in their ice palace in Dr. Zhivago. Sigh...
mine are up!
Harold & Maude...one of my favorite movies EVER!!!
