ON MUSIC ~ The Music That Shapes Us...

Edition #1

Thirteen Things about THE BUMBLES...
and the music that shapes us

  1. Andy played Clarinet for 2 years in elementary school

  2. The first album Andy ever bought was "High Voltage" by AC/DC

  3. Molly played Violin for 8 years from elementary school through most of high school and Piano for 2 years in middle school

  4. The first album Molly ever bought was "Synchronicity" by The Police

  5. Andy knows the anniversary dates of death for Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jerry Garcia as well as he knows his National Holidays

  6. Andy took Molly to her first Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Band concerts

  7. "Blue Sky" by the Allman Brothers Band is "Our Song"

  8. "Loving Cup" by the Rolling Stones spurred on Andy's proposal to Molly

  9. We were introduced at our wedding reception as Husband & Wife to "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"

  10. Molly tortures Andy with Bread and Duran Duran songs from time to time which he patiently endures

  11. If back to back Led Zeppelin albums are playing at our house late night we have been drinking too much and need to go to bed

  12. If Andy were in a band he would like to be the Bassist, but in reality he can only handle the Bongos

  13. If Molly were in a band she would like to be the Lead Singer, but in reality she should stick to the shower

Very cool TT! I would want to be the drummer or the lead singer. I love Led Zeppelin. And you and I share two favorite books: To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sound and the Fury.

I've never been much into musical statistics, but I like Andi's choice of musicians.

I think I need to go dig out my old Duran Duran cassettes now.

the family that plays together stays together. Do you think that was a musical statement?

Great Thursday 13 list! I'm still laughing over the Led Zeppelin comment :)

RYC: Salem would definitely be in my top 20 of haunted locations to see. Oh, and the Lizzie Borden House (isn't that in Fall River?)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my list!

Great list! LOL @ #5. I'm lucky that my hubby knows our wedding anniversary, let alone all those anniversaries. I think it's great that you two share so much music in common!

Thanks for commenting on my first TT!

I just have this cute silly idea that Andy and Molly make the perfect match! The last two items are really cute!
